Fo sure yo. Karl needed a whole lot of serious PR work before he ever appealed to the masses. And he was real awkward around women, always fiddling nervously with his beard. Whereas, Lenin was a total chick magnet.

Actually, the astute Engels also filled in as Marx’s media service, writing negative reviews of Capital for bourgeois journals in order to publicise the work. We need more of that approach these days.
