Ran across this post by accident…have several Kiwi friends and I could definitely identify with this list. First time I met one of these folks they were telling me about a “widd’ng”, I had no idea what a “widd’ng” was…after much difficulty I discovered they were saying “wedding”…and,alas, I was the one with the hard to understand accent!!
