In one of her characteristically tortured efforts to defend wealth and privilege, Amanda Vanstone (Howard government education minister) writes:
1. Parents should be able to ‘choose’ where to send their children for schooling, and ‘should be given the opportunity and encouraged to do so’. Translated: the government should assist the rich with paying private school fees.
2. Heavy tax-payer provided subsidies for private schools actually save the taxpayer money!
3. Public schools are ‘all too leftie Eastern bloc for me’.

Vanstone is like the endgame machine for the logic of liberal market ‘freedom’. I will save most of my rage for my thesis, but suffice to say that if I was an accelerationist, I would definitely vote for her to bring forth the most violent contradictions of capitalism
