… the separation of sex and procreation is in effect a state capitalist programme of bioethical tyranny etc etc. To my mind the Papacy is the crucial bulwark against this.

The Papacy is this 2 Timothy 3:5,King James Bible
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away
2 Timothy 3
10But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Indeed the zoosexuals, and other sexual orientations have suffered long, and have been persecuted.Let us by the grace of the Lord God almighty stop persecution insomuch that there will be no one to persecute anyone with all loving all even as Jesus loves all.

Nah, like Calvin said, he’s merely one of many anti-Christs. Quite droll, really, being an anti-Christ. Not for me.
8 January, 2011 at 5:22 pm
Thou art then like Christ having no fear for perfect love casts out all fear having a soul that will be safe to live in peace with whoever for all of eternity.
Jesus said if I be lifted up will draw all men unto me.here is hoping the ones who are at this time acting anti Christ change sides, and be for the king of lovers.

There’s so much MACLAGAN GOLD in that paragraph. Like his claim that same-sex marriage is “ontologically impossible”, and the importance of inheritance laws.
Anyway, interesting that his definition of ‘state capitalism’ is liberal capitalism, rather than Stalinism.

The Papacy is laying up treasures on earth, and not in heaven being a contradiction of what they claim to stand for. The inheritance they should be concerned with is the one the meek will inherit, and not this earth that the greedy one are not inhabiting.Same sex marriage is as possible and The Love of God who is the Lord God Jesus Christ being married to all those that love him .Jesus is not ashamed to be married to a male human at all. When he is flesh, and blood spirit combined with your spirit to love even as he loves is being married to you, merging the infinite divine one with the finite both becoming one in an orgasmic dance of love that will never end.

VM: so that would render the laws that enable same-sex as non-laws. But fuck it, all that ‘ontological’ crap really just means what God wants – as if Maclagan has a ladder into God’s mind and pass it on to us mortals. Oh I forgot: he talks to the pope.
9 January, 2011 at 11:52 am
The pope knows nothing of God,and is all show, and no go as far as God who is Jesus Christ Lord of all is concerned.God is in your mind, and must be in our mind to save us from certain doom of our soul.

The suprising thing is that Maclagan goes on and on about how liberalism is a heresy and yet keeps supporting one neo-liberal policy after another of the UK Con-Lib govt.
9 January, 2011 at 1:38 pm
Maclagan Is not a good thing. individual responsibility is in regards to one own salvation.
The main points of neo-liberalism include:
ELIMINATING THE CONCEPT OF “THE PUBLIC GOOD” or “COMMUNITY” and replacing it with “individual responsibility.” Pressuring the poorest people in a society to find solutions to their lack of health care, education and social security all by themselves — then blaming them, if they fail, as “lazy.”
This is not how Jesus would talk to anyone.
Therefore Jesus in not in him to talk the way he dos.

For once, Mr Fox, I agree with you although you do seem to talk to Jesus an awful lot.

Thank you for referring to my furry fursona. My furry tail is waging happily =^_^=.I speak to Jesus, and he to me a lot because he is in me. That is why . It is Jesus in me to see Christ in the furry, and zoosexuals as well as all of those that are repressed, pushed down, and persecuted. He has to be in whoever to save their soul. A time is coming where humans will diligently seek him, but will not be able to find him, and continue doing bad to whoever thinking it is good,Therefore:Isaiah 55:6:King James Bible
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.
John 14:26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. Holy ghost is Jesus, and the father who is Lord, and Doubting Thomas realized that Jesus is Lord, and God the father, and Jesus praised him for seeing this.

This thin posturing of anti-capitalist indignation which masks an even more brutal capitalism reminds me of some similar posturing from early last century. Mussolini & Hitler were fervently into “anti-capitalism”, weren’t they – deploring the vacuity of modern life? (Although, by “anti-capitalism”, it turned out that what they really had in mind was something along the lines of anti-the-capital-belonging-to-other-people-who-we-dont-think-should-have-it-especially-Jews). Much the same as the Chinese Empire now in many ways, then…
I read the news today (oh boy), and Herr Ratzy was complaining about people giving trendy first names to their babies: Lily, Chanel, Sienna, and ones like that. One of Ratzinger’s spokesmen was saying that trendy names turned people into “commodities”. For a moment it sounded like Ratzinger was contemplating selling up the Vatican, giving the proceeds to the poor, and sitting on a big long pole somewhere. And perhaps he will. But in the article his “revolutionary” answer to commodification was a “return” to more biblical first names. And by “biblical” he possibly had in mind the New Testament…

Strange how perfectly good biblical names like Onan, Jezebel and Ham seem to miss out all the time.

Ejaculating semen, sex that’s all it is,
erect thing as it squirts its jizz,
pompous papacy’s is pious, purple in rage.
Knowest thou not sex a thing all life doth engage?

The power analysis here is ruthlessly off. Lets say there is a programme of bioethical tyranny, sponsored by the nexus of corporations and the state – how precisely is the Pope relative power, both soft and hard power, capable of providing any such bulwark? Considering that said bio-ethical power has been developed entirely under the sway of successive Popes who are in charge of a religion of a billion people, how is there any evidence for this stance?
14 January, 2011 at 10:04 am
Maclagan would simply fall back on the idea of an ontological bulwark, to which he of course has privilege and which the pope wields.
